Twenty-two years ago, Rabbi Meir Rabivo embarked on a mission inspired by a sacred blessing. At his son's brit, the esteemed Rabbi Ovadia Yosef zt"l embraced him and said:

"Until your last day, invest in the children of Israel. Give them a path, give them direction."

Since then, these words have guided Rabbi Rabivo's every step. Under his leadership, Mechubarim has become a cornerstone for hundreds of boys and girls in Gan Yavne and throughout Israel. Mechubarim offers not only a warm and welcoming space but also values, structure, and a deep sense of belonging.

A Broad Scope of Meaningful Activities

Over the years, Mechubarim has expanded its efforts into several critical areas:

• Youth Study Programs: Providing meaningful guidance and education for boys and girls.
• Bar Mitzvah Celebrations: Organizing ceremonies and providing full tefillin sets for underprivileged children.
• Kollel for Torah Scholars: Supporting dedicated learners and fostering community involvement.
• Food Basket Distribution: Delivering essential items to families in need, especially during holidays.
• Support for Families in Mourning: Offering care and assistance during times of loss.

A Home for the Youth of the South

After decades of impactful work, Mechubarim has acquired land and a facility in Gan Yavne. Today, the organization is spearheading its flagship project: the creation of a state-of-the-art youth center. This center will serve as a nurturing space where the youth of southern Israel can thrive in a supportive and inspiring environment.

However, the building requires extensive renovations, costing over $1 million, to transform it into a fully operational activity center.
